Our history

HB Schutzbekleidung was founded as a cloth wholesaler in 1952 by Herbert Berthold, the father of the current owner Klaus Berthold. As early as 1955, HB made up welding protective wear and has steadily expanded its product range over the years.  

Today, numerous partners and customers trust HB Protective Wear and appreciate our many years of experience as a specialist for PPE, the high product quality and our extensive know-how in certification and processing of personal protective equipment.
