For low-movement activities in cold or frozen areas, HB garments are made with extra-strong high-bulk insulation, teddy lining and additional back lining as well as a collar made of woven fur for reliable long-term protection. The air pockets in the high-density insulating fabric form a barrier against the cold and keep the warmth close to the body, so that even very low ambient temperatures can be compensated. Thanks to the extensive product range, everyone can individually put together their cold protection equipment to suit the requirements at the workplace - from inside to outside, from head to toe.
HB TEMPEX® cold protection clothing is certified in accordance with DIN EN 342. HB's underwear, the Alaska hood and the HB fleece gloves are reference clothing in the EN standard’s garment tests and are used by certification institutes. The results state how long one can stay with the respective clothing at which physical load and at which temperature. This helps to find the right clothing combination for the specific requirements at the workplace.
