Comfortable, resilient and flexible: HB-ComFlex® - our new denim welding protection
When it comes to welding protection, it is important to be reliably protected even during demanding activities and to be able to move easily in your protective clothing. With HB-ComFlex®, HB Protective Wear offers an outstanding solution that has been specially developed for welders and metalworkers. It is available in two versions that can be flexibly combined depending on the area of application: elasticated denim for medium to heavy welding work and optionally with a particularly hard-wearing fabric in areas subject to heavy wear. HB-ComFlex® is also visually impressive, as the indigo-coloured denim takes on its typical jeans look after washing.
The elasticated fabric plays an important role here, as it ensures the necessary freedom of movement and an unusually high level of comfort for the intended areas of use when working in constrained positions and in confined spaces.
The robust and innovative high-tech fabric provides particular protection against sharp metal edges and constant flying sparks. It is therefore particularly suitable for continuous intensive welding and heavy flexing work or for difficult work situations such as overhead welding. This is why it is used in particularly exposed areas: on the collar, front and lower sleeves of the jacket, and on the front of the trousers, including the knee pockets. In addition, all models are processed according to the roof tile principle so that splashes and sparks roll off easily.
Both versions can be individually combined with each other and flexibly adapted to different work applications. HB-ComFlex® also fulfils the requirements of textile service providers to a particularly high degree.
This modern PPE is also a real eye-catcher, as the denim takes on a very individual and authentic used look after washing. Not only does the casual denim look catch the eye, but the feel of the fabric is also much softer than you would expect from such high-performance protective clothing. High-quality PPE specially developed for welders and metalworkers that provides optimum protection, fits well and looks good, and is therefore a pleasure to wear.
The collection includes a jacket, trousers and dungarees, each available in a 100% denim version and in combination with the high-tech fabric. It is complemented by a "vegan" welding apron made entirely from this robust material. In contrast to the leather aprons on the market, it is also industrially washable like the entire collection and impresses with its long service life in industrial washing.
Both versions of HB-ComFlex® fulfil the requirements of ISO 11611 welding protection class 2 A1+A2 and ISO 11612 heat and flame protection and are available from stock in all product variants and standard sizes.
