HB donates € 10,000 for the victims of the flood catastrophe

HB Protective Wear has transferred € 10,000 to a donation account at the Sparkasse Ahrweiler. The account was set up by the district administration of Ahrweiler, which is showing solidarity with the citizens of the affected villages and is itself making a contribution to the repair of the damage with a donation of € 500,000.  HB is happy to join this initiative with its donation. All money received will be forwarded to those in need via the savings banks concerned.

500 trees say Thank You

This year, HB Protective Wear has decided to plant 500 trees in the local forest as a thank you for the active participation. At the beginning of November, the chestnuts selected by the responsible forester as a sensible form of reforestation were planted.

HB extends aid for the protection of sea turtles

HB Protective Wear has once again donated 3,000 euros to the Turtle Foundation for the protection of the highly endangered leatherback turtles in Indonesia. The money will be used to guard the nesting sites during the nesting season from October to March. Thanks to the HB donation, the protection project on the island of Sipora can be continued.

At the beginning of August 2020, Germany's leading protective clothing manufacturer HB Protective Wear began distributing the donations from the sale of mouth-nose masks to the individual recipients. The total sum of 250,000 euros will go to various charitable organisations and initiatives in Rhineland-Palatinate, thus benefiting as many institutions as possible.

HB donates 5,000 euros from mouth-nose mask sales to the Anhausen parish volunteer fire department

On November 26, 2021, Klaus Berthold, owner of HB Protective Wear, presented a symbolic check in the amount of 5,000 euros to the support association of the Kirchspiel Anhausen Volunteer Fire Department. The donation was made as part of the fundraising campaign of a total of 250,000 euros from HB's sales of mouth-nose masks. Fire brigade leader Volker Lemgen received the check at HB's headquarters in Thalhausen.

HB donates 15,000 euros to the Neuwied disaster management centre

On November 26, 2021, Klaus Berthold, owner of HB Protective Wear, presented a check in the amount of 15,000 euros to the Neuwied District Disaster Control. The donation is made as part of the fundraising campaign totaling 250,000 euros from HB's sales of mouth-nose masks. Holger Kurz received the check at HB's headquarters in Thalhausen in his capacity as fire and disaster prevention inspector. "We thank you very much for this generous donation and are very happy about it. We will use it to supplement the IT structure of the district's Technical Operations Center. This will help us to further improve our processes in the association and the operations centers," as Holger Kurz explains.
